Refund & Return Policy

Our policy is designed to be fair and compliant with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Please read it carefully.

1. Gas Refills (Consumable Product) LPG is a consumable product. Once a gas cylinder’s seal is broken or the gas has been used, it cannot be returned or refunded. We encourage you to ensure you are ordering the correct size and type of gas for your needs.

2. Faulty Products on Delivery In compliance with the CPA, all goods carry an implied warranty of quality.

  • If a gas cylinder we deliver is found to be clearly faulty upon delivery (e.g., it is leaking from the valve, visibly damaged, or the seal is broken), do not accept it.
  • Notify our driver immediately. We will replace the faulty cylinder with a new one at no additional cost.
  • This policy does not cover issues arising from your own faulty appliances or installation.

3. Gas Cylinder Deposit Refund We are happy to refund your cylinder deposit when you are finished with the bottle.

  • Condition: To be eligible for a full deposit refund, the empty cylinder must be returned to us in good condition, allowing for reasonable wear and tear. It must be free from significant dents, rust, or damage.
  • Process: To arrange for the return of a cylinder and claim your deposit refund, please contact us at accounts@prestigegas.co.za. We will arrange for collection and, upon inspection of the cylinder, process your refund via EFT.

4. Incorrect Orders If we deliver the wrong product to you by mistake, please do not accept it and notify our driver immediately. We will arrange to deliver the correct product to you as quickly as possible at no extra charge.
